Our Afghan Saffron 5g is sourced directly from Afghan producers who take great care during harvesting and selection. Saffron flowers are delicately harvested and the precious red stigmas carefully separated to produce this highly prized spice.
How to Use Afghan Saffron
For best results, gently crush a few saffron strands and steep them in a small amount of warm water or milk for approximately 10–20 minutes. Add the infused liquid to rice, curries, desserts, drinks or tea.
