Black seed questions

What is black seed?

Black seed is the seed of Nigella sativa. It is also called black cumin, habbatus sauda or habbat al-barakah. It is different from ordinary cumin.

What is Ethiopian black seed oil?

It is oil pressed from Nigella sativa seeds stated to originate in Ethiopia. Prophetic Blends supplies cold-pressed Ethiopian black seed oil in 100ml and one-litre sizes.

What does cold pressed mean?

Cold pressing is a mechanical extraction method that avoids the high temperatures used in some refining processes. It helps retain the natural sensory character of the oil but does not make it a medicine.

What is thymoquinone?

Thymoquinone is a naturally occurring constituent studied in connection with Nigella sativa. Its level can vary by seed, origin, processing, storage and test method.

Dates, saffron and shilajit

What are Madinah Ajwa dates?

Ajwa is a dark date variety associated with Madinah, Saudi Arabia, and honoured in the authentic Sunnah. Prophetic Blends supplies Premium Madinah Ajwa Dates in 450g and 900g packs.

What is Super Negin saffron?

Super Negin is a premium commercial saffron grade generally associated with long, intact red stigma sections and minimal yellow style material. Our Afghan Super Negin Saffron is available in 2g and 5g sizes.

What is Gilgit shilajit?

It is shilajit resin stated to originate from the mountainous Gilgit region of Pakistan. Buyers should look beyond origin and consider purification, labelling and relevant contaminant testing. View our Gilgit shilajit.

Is shilajit resin better than gummies?

They are different formats. Resin offers a traditional format, while gummies can be more convenient. Ingredients, processing, testing and correct labelling matter more than format alone.
